Eye & Vision Exams
Are You Getting Your Eyes Examined Regularly?
For most of us it is easy to take clear, comfortable vision for granted. But regular eye examinations are essential to maintain the gift of good vision, and to monitor the health of your eyes and much more. Your eyes don’t usually hurt when something is wrong. An optometric examination can pick up signs of eye conditions before you’re aware of any symptoms. Very young children need to be checked even before school age, to verify proper coordination between the two eyes (BINCOULAR VISION) as well as screening for vision correction. In adults, the eye doctor will check vision and focusing ability (PRESBYOPIA), along with tests for other possible conditions. Early diagnosis and treatment of eye and vision problems are vital for maintaining good vision and eye health, and when possible, preventing vision loss.
We are happy to announce that we are now offering optomap® imaging, which shows us a much wider view of your retina than any other imaging device, in order to provide our patients with the greatest chance of earlier disease detection and treatment.
Regular Eye Exams Are Critical for Detecting:
- Glaucoma
- Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
- Cataracts
- Diabetic retinopathy
